About the role:
- Driving the payment process Operations department;
- Help to build operational excellence and a data driven culture;
- Managing our response to incidents and triaging the incident process for cards and payments;
- Own the physical card manufacturing process to deliver world - class cards to our customers;
- Managing relationships with card and payment partners to ensure delivery of the service ensuring partners contractual SLAs;
- Ensure full visibility and control of the payment processing and the measurements company partners performance;
- Define partners KPIs and ensure these are consistently met and reported against;
- Responsible for reconciliation to be done accurately and efficiently, meeting all external and internal requirements;
- Communicate plans and the state of payment and card processing to senior management;
- Managing reporting obligations with card and payment partners;
- Liaise with banking partners, payment schemes and suppliers on operational matters;
- Ensure that we can handle new products seamlessly from a processing perspective and that a solid operating model has been designed before we launch new products;
- Preparing, validating and releasing SWIFT messages if / when necessary;
- Performing daily reconciliations of accounts;
- Performing monthly reconciliations of payments and cards;
- Responsible for daily and or monthly settlements with partners, ensuring appropriate funds are assigned for the settlements;
- Handling of Chargebacks / Disputed transactions;
- Responsible for scanning and maintaining records of chargebacks investigations;
- Contribute to improvements across the operations department, creating efficiencies and reducing risk;
- Communicate proactively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders;
- Deal promptly and effectively with payment approval queries and issues, escalating where necessary;
- Interacting with technology to help automate processes;
- Developing regular accurate management information for all payments and cards related processes;
- Proactive identification and management to resolution of identified risks, discrepancies and exceptions within our records;
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm' s reputation;
- Undertaking additional duties as reasonably requested by your manager.
Requirements
- Degree Holder in Business, Banking & Finance or other related discipline;
- Minimum 3 years prior experience in a corporate cash role, ideally in international / foreign bank;
- Good knowledge of corporate banking cash operations;
- Good interpersonal and communication skills;
- Proficiency in English written and verbal;
- Detail - minded, good analytical and follow - up skills;
- Ability to work independently and in the team;
- Broader Transaction Banking knowledge;
- IT project exposure.

- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to management and employees.
